We use Allen Bradley PLCs and need support with our sensors.I'm thinking CompactLogix PLC would work well. Can you let me know what hardware / software I'd need?

The Most Cost effective CompactLogix System is the 1769-L16ER-BB1B

1769L16ERBB1B L1, 384KB, 6 I/O Expansion via 1734 POINT I/O, 4 Ethernet IP Nodes, 24VDC

Software Required to Program these is Studio 5000 (Can Purchase Directly from Rockwell)

See Ordering guide for Options

Note

There is also the Micro800 Series of PLCs that uses its own software (Connect Components Workshop) – These are more budget PLCs

And Older Models Like MicroLogix and SLC that Use RSLogix 500 Software but these are being phased out and soon to be obsolete
