We have acquired some training aids that have 1769-L16ER-BB1B controllers in the product. Is there an education license/free version available for either or both of these applications?

Yes, the CompactLogix Series uses the Studio 5000 software and unfortunately Rockwell doesn’t have Educational versions

Software is sold directly from Rockwell through their online portal (requires account setup)
