1794 FLEX I/O Systems

The 1794 FLEX I/O platform provides modular distributed input and output solutions for industrial automation, process control, and machine control applications. Designed for flexible installation and efficient use of panel space, the FLEX I/O system supports scalable architectures for both local and remote I/O deployments.

The FLEX I/O system consists of communication adapters, terminal bases, power supplies, and I/O modules that snap together on standard DIN rail assemblies. Each adapter can support up to eight I/O modules and terminal bases, allowing configurations of up to 256 digital I/O points or 96 analog channels per adapter.

The 1794 series includes digital input and output modules, analog I/O modules, relay modules, temperature modules, HART modules, motion and counter modules, safety I/O, and specialty communication interfaces. Available module densities range from 8 point through 32 point configurations with support for AC, DC, relay, analog current, analog voltage, thermocouple, and RTD signals.

FLEX I/O systems support multiple industrial communication networks including EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, PROFIBUS DP, Remote I/O, and additional open network platforms through compatible communication adapters.
