MicroLogix 1200 Migration & Replacement Solutions
The MicroLogix 1200 controller series (catalog numbers beginning with 1762-L) has been discontinued and customers are encouraged to migrate to newer Micro800 controller platforms for improved communications capability, modern software support, and long term hardware availability.
A commonly recommended modernization path is migration to the Micro850 2080-L50E controller platform. This upgrade moves applications from the legacy RSLogix 500 programming environment to the Connected Components Workbench (CCW) software platform while providing improved Ethernet networking, enhanced processing capability, and modern industrial communication support.

Expansion I/O Considerations
