MicroLogix 1400 Programmable Logic Controller Systems

The MicroLogix 1400 programmable controller platform provides compact industrial automation control with integrated Ethernet communications, online editing capability, and flexible I/O expansion for machine control and process applications. Designed for OEM machinery, manufacturing systems, water treatment, HVAC, material handling, and industrial automation environments, the MicroLogix 1400 series expands on the capabilities of earlier MicroLogix controller platforms.

MicroLogix 1400 controllers are available in models with 32 embedded digital I/O points or configurations including 32 digital I/O points plus 6 embedded analog I/O points. All controller versions support expansion using up to seven 1762 MicroLogix Expansion I/O modules, allowing flexible system growth and support for up to 256 discrete I/O points.

The platform includes embedded Ethernet communications with support for industrial networking, remote monitoring, web server functionality, email messaging capability, and DNP3 protocol support. Dual serial ports provide additional communication flexibility supporting DF1, DH-485, Modbus RTU, DNP3, and ASCII protocols.

A built in backlit LCD display allows local viewing of controller status, I/O status, messages, bit monitoring, and integer manipulation directly from the controller without requiring programming software.
