Micro850 LC50 Migration & Replacement Solutions

The Micro850 LC50 programmable controller series (catalog numbers beginning with 2080-LC50) was officially discontinued on 31 July 2023. Customers using existing LC50 controller systems are encouraged to migrate to the newer Micro850 2080-L50E controller platform for improved long term support, enhanced communications capability, and ongoing hardware availability.

The 2080-L50E controller family provides a direct migration path for existing LC50 systems while maintaining compatibility with many existing expansion modules, wiring configurations, and machine architectures. The newer L50E series supports Connected Components Workbench (CCW) software version 20.01 or later and provides backward compatibility for existing applications and hardware configurations.
